Dr Susan Theiss

As a Knowledge to Innovation Broker at the Institute for Future Environments, Susan assists researchers to connect with industry and government and translate their research outputs to impacts. She provides strategic advice on opportunities to maximise the value of research impacts and outcomes for both internal and external markets, and acts in a business development role to both internal and external markets. With a primary focus on agricultural and industrial biotechnology and the biological sciences, Susan manages a wide portfolio of research projects which vary considerably in scope and complexity.
Susan brings to this role experience in the coordination and management of research projects and research administration support services through various government and professional roles, as well as personal academic research knowledge and experience from her time as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
