I obtained a PhD degree in economics from the University of Queensland in 2007. Since then I worked at the Centre of National Research on Disability and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Queensland. I joined the Australian Centre for Health Service Innovation in March 2015.
I published about 30 articles, some were published in top-ranking journals in the areas of health economics and public health such as Accident Analysis & Prevention, Journal of Health Economics, Health Economics, Biosocial Science, and BMC Public Health. The total citations of my research since 2009 is 200, with an h-index of 9. My main contribution in these articles included specification of economic models, survey design, and econometrics analysis.
