Biography
Phuong completed her undergraduate degree in Thai Nguyen University Thai Nguyen City, Vietnam and Master Course in biological sciences, Thai Nguyen University, Thai Nguyen City, Vietnam. She was awarded a PhD degree in Plant Biotechnology from University of Queensland (UQ) in 2009. Prior to academia, she had spent six years as lecturer at Thai Nguyen University, Thai Nguyen City, Vietnam. Phuong is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Centre for Tropical Crops and Biocommodities, working on a Grand Challenges in Global Health project founded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
