Dr. Nathan Castro is a well-experienced chemist and multidisciplinary engineer, an educator, inventor, and developer of new intellectual property with established and vested commercial ventures. My research efforts have always been largely application driven which have resulted in traditional scientific/academic outputs as well as attractive commercialisation outcomes. Emanating from my early years in University, I have always been motivated and driven to develop new technologies/techniques, materials and applications for existing technologies, as well as establish academic, government and industry collaborations. As an early career researcher, I have a well-established track record of success as evidenced through the >30 journal articles, 4 book chapters and 3 patents in the fields of tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and medical devices.
