Dr Michael Stuetzer

Michael Stuetzer is currently active in research at the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research at the Queensland University of Technology. Michael received a PhD degree from the Friedrich Schiller University Jena where he was a research fellow at the Graduate College of “The Economics of Innovative Change”.  In Jena Michael was a member of the research team conducting the “Thuringian Founder Study” – an interdisciplinary research project focussing on the success and failure of innovative start-up projects. Several papers dealing with human capital, team start-ups and regional economics from his research have been presented at domestic and international conferences and are currently under review at leading academic journals.
