Biography
I am a QUT Ideas Research Fellow and AHPRA-registered psychologist specialising in organisational psychology. I am fascinated by most topics related to leadership and organisational behaviour, particularly how bad leadership affects group dynamics within organisations. I have published empirical papers in several top journals including the British Journal of Social Psychology, Political Psychology, and Safety Science. My close research collaborations include those with the Technical University of Munich and the University of Queensland.Currently, my research focuses on:
- how workers nested social identities influence their active response to leader transgressions within multi-level organisations,
- how leaders' organisational position influences the extent workers are affected by leader misbehaviour,
- effective intergroup leadership within multi-team organisations.

I currently teach HRM and organisational behaviour. In addition, I have significant expertise in work-integrated learning.
My other activities include representing the Australian Psychological Society College of Organisational Psychologists Queensland and translating research to inform or explain real-world issues. I hope to enable research to reach wider audiences.
