Dr Leo Wu

Liao Wu received his BS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2008 and 2013, respectively. From 2013 to 2015, he worked as a research fellow with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, National University of Singapore. Since 2016, he has been a Vice-Chancellor's Research Fellow with the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision, Queensland University of Technology.
Dr. Wu’s research mainly focuses on Medical Robotics and Industrial Robotics. Particularly, he is interested in Fundamental Theories such as Kinematics, Calibration, and Application of Lie Group Theory in Robotics; he is also fascinated by Engineering Techniques in development of Mechatronic Systems.
