Associate Professor Kettle is a research program leader of the Teachers and Teaching Research Group (TTRG). Her professional memberships include:

Teaching

Associate Professor Kettle teaches and coordinates the TESOL specialisation in the Master of Education and Graduate Certificate in Education. She also teaches research methods in the Doctor of Education (EdD) course. Her TESOL teaching units are:

  • Theory and practice of second language teaching and learning
  • Sociolinguistics.

Associate Professor Kettle’s teaching has been recognised in a number of Faculty of Education teaching awards: 2009 Teaching Excellence: Early Career Award 2010 Team Teaching Excellence Award: Language Education Team. She also regularly presents on effective teaching and learning in school, university and community settings. For example
