Biography
Kay Oddone is a lecturer in the Faculty of Education at QUT. Kay’s area of expertise focuses on how we enhance learning experiences and create new knowledge using social technologies. Her publications, research and teaching centre around the areas of critical and digital literacies, developed through networked and connected learning. Kay's recently completed PhD explores teachers’ experience of professional learning through personal learning networks.
She lectures in the areas of Connected Learning, Inquiry Learning and Teacher Librarianship and is the study area coordinator for Teacher Librarianship in the Master of Education.
Kay has over twenty years' experience working in education and information environments. She has held teaching, school administration and librarianship positions, and has worked in consultancy positions nationally and internationally.
