Biography
Overview
Dr Khac Duy Nguyen is DECRA postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). His project aims to developing an innovative condition assessment method for reliably evaluating health condition of large infrastructure systems. This will be done without disruption of infrastructure operation and with minimum resources of data and minimum effort for numerical modelling and calibrating.
He has published 20 journal papers and over 20 conference papers, mainly on the fields of structural health monitoring, damage detection and structural dynamics. He has also successfully co-supervised 4 PhD students to completion.
