Dr John Rosenberg has provided education and training in palliative and end of life care for more than 20 years, during his clinical employment and as an academic. As adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Indigenous Studies at Charles Sturt University, he coauthored an educational program on palliative care in rural and remote settings. He is a contributor to AusMed's suite of CPD material in palliative care. In his role as Clinical Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Queensland, Dr Rosenberg undertook curriculum review to integrate evidence-based practice learning across the Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Midwifery programs. Further, he co-authored and co-ordinated the postgraduate course Chronic Disease Management and Palliative Care.
