Teaching

Jeremy has taught into Design and Design-related courses across Australia and has lead several design course programs. He is currently  Study Area Coordinator for the Interactive and Visual Design program.

Jeremy co-ordinates and lectures in Visual Communication (DXB102) and Design Thinking (DXB503) and has taught into Contemporary Issues in Interactive and Visual Design, Theories of Visual Communication, Visual Information Design, Design and Creative Thinking, Design and Sustainability and Professional Practice for Designers in QUT undergraduate programs. He also continues to supervise students in the Creative Industries Honours program and has taught postgraduate subjects Project Design in the Creative Industries and Innovation in Creative Industries Major Project.

His experience at previous institutions includes teaching in the areas of Action Research, Design History, Writing for Design, Visual Analysis, Sustainable Design, Interdisciplinary Design, Professional Development, Film and Video Design and Intercultural Design.

Jeremy has worked on whole of course curriculum design across several tertiary institutions, including QUT. His experience involves developing both new undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
