Biography
BackgroundGeoff Fisher has taught units at the QUT Law Faculty in Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Private International Law and International Trade Law. His background includes tutoring in Political Science at the University of Queensland Department of Government and working as a Senior Legal officer in the International Trade Law section of the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department.
His main research activity concerns the areas of Constitutional Law (Australian and comparative) and International Trade Law (with emphasis on international commercial dealings). Associated with these are interests in Foreign Law and Public Law generally. His publications include several journal articles, conference papers, and chapters in legal texts.
