Biography
Dr Elizabeth (Liz) Kiata-Holland is a visiting Research Fellow in the School of Design, Creative Industries Faculty, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. Liz holds a PhD from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She has conducted interdisciplinary, mixed-methods research in social gerontology. In previous positions at the University of Auckland and the University of Queensland, Liz’s research has focused on the lived experiences of adults with disabilities and the people that work with them. As chief and co-investigator on successful research grants, Liz has been involved in all aspects of the research process. She has led and collaborated on the writing of a number of academic publications including journal articles in BMJ, Australasian Journal on Ageing, and Qualitative Health Research. Liz has peer-reviewed journals including Health and Social Care in the Community, Journal of Primary Health Care, and the Journal of Health Psychology. Since joining QUT, Liz has been working on a number of diverse research activities.Personal details
