Biography
He has been working as a visiting research fellow with Dehydration and Thermal Processing Group, School of Mech., Medical & Process Engineering, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane. He has worked as a Professor in Biosystems Engineering Dept., Shiraz University and being the permanent member of Brilliant Talents of Shiraz University which is one of the top ranked universities in Iran.Based on his experience in teaching and research, he has expertise in Post-harvest and Food Engineering including process simulation (heat and mass transfer), applied thermodynamics, and application of different numerical methods (Finite difference method, Finite Element Methods, CFD) for system design and optimization. He has extensively worked on applications of new technologies in post-harvest grain processing such as plasma, RF, infrared, ultrasonic and microwave systems.
He has been supervising 18 master theses and three Ph.D. dissertations and have over 100 publications in top peer-reviewed journals and international world conferences.
He is currently the Board member of Technical Section IV (Energy in Agriculture), CIGR which is the world’s top professional bodies in bio-systems engineering.
