Dr Claire Gardiner

Biography
Claire Gardiner is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Management, QUT Business School. Claire completed a 3 year secondment as Director of Undergraduate Studies in the QUT Business School from 2011-2013. She has served extensively on QUT, Faculty and School committees and working parties. Her teaching at postgraduate and undergraduate levels includes human resource management and management subject topics.
During 2004-2006, Claire completed a secondment as a QUT and Faculty of Business Learning and Teaching Consultant, working with academic staff. She also was the manager of the government accredited QUT Registered Training Organisation while an academic in the HRM program. Previously, Claire coordinated and taught training and development and management subjects at Griffith University and training and development in the Faculty of Education, QUT. Prior to her academic appointments, Claire held senior management roles in human resource management in the corporate sector.
Her research into situated knowledge, knowledge sharing, newcomer capability development and student learning outcomes has been presented at major academic conferences in the UK, Europe, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Canada and the US.
