Biography
Anna Daniel is a Researcher in the New Media Services team of the Smart Services Research Co-operative. She is researching emerging innovations in media, with a focus on digital news. She is also researching creative networks in Australian suburbia in the National Centre for Australian Studies at Monash University. She has a background as a highly successful commercial researcher and business manager, having held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture, Commonwealth Funds Management, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission and public radio. She has particular interests in creative content, digital media, communities and entertainment and has recently submitted a PhD thesis on emerging business models in the music sector.
