Biography
Background
Angus's professional experience has ranged from banking, public policy research, consultancy, to academia. He has taught at several universities in NSW, Australia and New Zealand before joining the School of Accountancy in 2009. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing, China from December 2010.
Angus is also a research associate at the Centre for International Corporate Governance Research at Victoria University, Melbourne, a former member of China Law Research Group at UTS, and was research fellow at Monash University. In addition, he serves as an international editorial advisory board member of the Regulatory Compliance Journal, and was previously was a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Australian New Zealand Academy of Management.
Having published a number of articles about corporate governance and regulations in Australia, Hong Kong, and China, Angus's doctoral research focuses on corporate governance regulatory framework and directors’ duties in Hong Kong from an Australian Perspective.
