Dr Andrea Petriwskyj

Biography
Andrea recently completed a PhD thesis at the Australasian Centre on Ageing, The University of Queensland, addressing issues of diversity and inclusion in relation to seniors' participation in local governance.
She has been involved with research in a range of areas including:
- volunteering
- collaboration among community organisations
- social policy in relation to ageing and older people
Andrea is continuing to develop her interests at ACPNS with research on seniors' organisations. Research interests: Social policy relating to ageing and older people; diversity and inclusion relating to an ageing population; the role of third sector organisations in policy and decision making.
