Ms Anna Borneman

BiographyAnna completed a Bachelor of Primary Education at Queensland University of Technology in 2008. She is a registered Teacher and has worked in Queensland and the Northern Territory in Primary and Secondary education for the past 10 years. Anna is passionate about supporting students with learning difficulties and enabling them to access a full and meaningful education.
In 2015 Anna completed a Master of Education - Inclusive Education. She is currently undertaking her PhD candidature at QUT through the Faculty of Education within the School of Early Childhood and Inclusive Education. Her research is in the area of school improvement with the title of her thesis: A mixed-method exploration of school-level predictors of collective teacher efficacy within low-socioeconomic schools in Australia.
Anna is also a Director of TransformEd Futures, a not-for-profit which provides alternate education options for young people who have been impacted by severe life trauma.
