The Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) provides you with a right to amend personal information held by us if you believe the information is inaccurate, incomplete, out-of-date or misleading.
We have an obligation to only use accurate information about you. We will update information that is not accurate and wherever possible provide you convenient ways to check and update your details.
The informal option will apply in most cases but if you wish to make a formal application to amend your information you should be able to identify the documents or information that you think is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or misleading and state the way in which they should be amended.
Your formal amendment application should be made on the approved form and submitted to the QUT Privacy Officer via email at privacy@qut.edu.au, or by post at:
