Hands-on workshops at QUT's design studios.
In partnership with QUT's Design Team, the Faculty of Engineering will be offering a series of design workshops for high school students years 10, 11, & 12. This workshop series is designed for students who have had at least an introductory lesson(s) in design and have an initial understanding of the design process. This event will be a full-day event. For the first half of the day, students will be briefed on the safety regulations of the equipment that will be used and design their pieces of work. In the second half of the day, students will use equipment to create their design pieces.
We will have the capacity to host 3 schools per day. A maximum of 25 students per school will be allowed to align with COVID safety measures. The workshop is free. So when making your schools' booking using the Eventbrite link, please choose 1 ticket, as this will represent your entire class.
