QUT will host the next Times Higher Education (THE) Young Universities Summit in Brisbane from April 5 to 7 in 2017 - the first time the event will be held in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Young Universities Summit provides a premier forum for younger institutions and will focus on the ways younger universities have risen in prominence and begun to challenge the traditional order of higher education.
It will also officially launch the 150 Under 50 Rankings 2017, which rank the world's best universities under 50 years old.
In partnership with Times Higher Education, QUT is developing a program of influential speakers from leading universities, multinational corporations and international governments. Themes will include diversity in leadership, new models of collaboration, integrating STEM and creativity, and 'real world' futures.
Summit attendees will appreciate QUT’s world-class facilities, its beautiful central city setting in Brisbane and proximity to major tourist destinations.
QUT's Science and Engineering Centre boasts world-class facilities for students, researchers and visitors.
