The CIQ team recently visited Rochedale State High School, providing a comprehensive Chinese Language and Culture day for more than 120 Year 7 students. Activities included Taiji, calligraphy, paper cutting and Kung Fu as well as a Chinese tea ceremony

This was the first school visit for both CIQ Director, Antoine Barnaart and Deputy Director Xiaowen Lin. Both were impressed by the enthusiasm of all of the Rochedale students and they look forward to seeing them again during the subsequent school visits.

Antoine expressed his gratitude to both Hui Richards, CIQ Senior Lecturer and Patricia Lehmann, Rochedale State High School Chinese teacher for their very capable organisation of the day and to the CIQ Team for their delivery of the program.
