Hi I'm Matt and I am studying a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting.
After moving to Brisbane in 2008, I chose QUT because of its great reputation and its central location.
During year 12 I participated in the START QUT program, and loved every second of it. I was also lucky enough to gain a scholarship with the world's largest accounting firm 'PriceWaterhouse Coopers,' where I study and work during my degree, giving me the opportunity to put my learning into practice.
I love studying accounting at QUT because of the access to great facilities and knowledgeable lecturers.
The best advice I could give to new students is to work hard, but enjoy life as much as possible. Meet new people and get actively involved in clubs and societies. Uni is a great place if you get involved.
