Hi, I'm Justin. I'm studying a double degree in Engineering and Mathematics.
I chose QUT after speaking with students at open days and the great experiences had by students from my high school. I live on the north side of Brisbane and have a reasonably quick commute to the Gardens Point campus by bus or train to the city.
I was lucky enough to receive a Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship which grants me access to the College of Excellence, a professional development program. The scholarship also provides financial assistance for my studies and will assist me in going on exchange to an overseas university.
Student Life at QUT is amazing, with many student clubs and societies. I play dodgeball through the QUT Student Guild Social Sport Program.
One major piece of advice is to make the most of your time at university. University life isn't filled with just studying, I strive to achieve a balance between study, casual work, social, sporting and recreational activities.
