Hey! I'm Hannah and I love being a QUT nursing student.
Starting at QUT as a school leaver pleasantly opened my eyes to the real world and all the new things that this stage of my life has to offer. I love that QUT suits me and that it's become my lifestyle.
Studying a Bachelor of Nursing single degree was my third preference when applying for university. However, once I started the course I realised it was a good option for me and QUT helped me come to this conclusion. Whilst it wasn't my dream course, I will end up where I want to be and can get out in to my field of work sooner.
At uni, I'm always learning from professionals in my field – we hear first-hand, the inspirational, caring and sometimes gross stories. Having a good range of exposure to the multiple and varying health care facilities and hospitals for my clinical placements' has been the best learning.
University is what you make of it so start now and be involved in your future. Study what interests you and what will make you love to learn more.
