Hi, I'm Chelle. I am currently in my fourth year of a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and doing a minor in teaching English as a second language.

I chose QUT because of its reputation and excellence in teacher education, as well as having the opportunity to be part of the START QUT program during Year 12. START QUT was an amazing opportunity that gave me a head start in my studies and life outside of school.

What I love about studying at QUT is being able to learn practical strategies and skills that I know I will use in the classroom. I plan to graduate this year after doing my third and fourth years part time to travel around Europe.

I recently went to India to assist with a literacy program, where children who are caught in the poverty cycle are able to learn for free. We helped the children with reading and writing English, so they can make a difference in their community. I am so excited to have had this opportunity and know I wouldn't have considered it without my uni course.
