Why study economics and finance at QUT?

Develop the skills to analyse business portfolios and provide recommendations for best financial returns. Study economic behaviour and the workings of economics systems, and learn to analyse economic issues in a wide range of contexts.

Our Securities and Dealing Room gives financial students access to data from Bloomberg, allowing them to experience the dynamic nature of financial markets, and the fast pace of real-time asset price movement.

Economics and finance is part of QUT's Business School, which is the only school in Australia with triple accreditation, and one of only 50 schools worldwide.
