Update your QUT study plan

The study plan updates you'll need to make depend on your study type.

Minors or second majors

If you are allowed to undertake a language minor or second major in your course, please select your minor or second major including the stream (for example introductory/beginners, post-secondary, advanced) in your study plan in QUT Virtual.

This will ensure your application is processed as quickly as possible.

You may be required to complete all compulsory subjects (core units) in the study area, or you may have a combination of compulsory subjects and option (choice) subjects to select from a list.

Option units (general elective)

If you are studying a language subject as an option unit (general elective) in your degree, please select the language subject in your study plan in eStudent (accessible via QUT Virtual).

This will ensure your application is processed as quickly as possible.

Can I enrol in a UQ or Griffith language subject in my QUT study plan?

No, to enrol in a UQ or Griffith language subject you'll need to submit an application for cross-institutional enrolment (see steps 5 and 6).
