Submit your cross-institutional enrolment application
It can take up to 10 working days for applications to be processed from the date you submit your application.
You must submit an application for each subject you would like to be considered for each teaching period.
For example, to be considered for enrolment in both FREN1010 Introductory French A and JAPN1013 Japanese 1A Standard in the same teaching period, you'll need to submit a separate application for each subject.
Your enrolment at UQ or Griffith does not automatically continue each semester, so you'll need to submit a cross-institutional enrolment application before each semester.
Submit your Brisbane Universities Language Alliance (BULA) application
What happens after I submit my application?
You'll receive an automatically generated email confirming receipt of your application. This will be sent to the QUT email address you record on your application.
This will include a copy of the privacy, terms and conditions statement and authorisation for cross-institutional enrolment you agreed to in the application.
How will I be notified the outcome?
Your cross-institutional enrolment application will be assessed by both QUT and UQ or Griffith.
Once it's been assessed, you'll receive an email with the outcome.
If your application is approved
You will receive a BULA cross-institutional approval notice, emailed to your QUT student email address. This will explain how to enrol at UQ or Griffith.
Application approval notices only indicate you are approved to cross-enrol at UQ or Griffith. You must complete step 7 to officially enrol in your language subject.
If your application isn't approved
You'll receive a notice of rejection sent to your QUT student email address, explaining why your application was unsuccessful. You won't be able to complete the remaining steps.
