The Evaluation Module II: Analytical Techniques in Road Safety Evaluation, is a short course offered by CARRS-Q, aims to provide delegates with a firm understanding of the theory underlying research design, data collection and data analysis methods for both qualitative and quantitative data.

The modules can be coupled together. If you successfully complete both modules and the formal assessment, you may be eligible for credit towards QUT's PYP405: Road Safety Evaluation Models unit.

The Evaluation Module I: Introduction to Evaluation in Road Safety
This module provides you with the fundamental principles and best practices relevant to road safety evaluation.
You'll gain a firm understanding of a variety of critical issues involved in designing and conducting a qualitative or quantitative study, and the pros and cons of some commonly used research methods.
These skills will enable delegates to conduct basic evaluation, select suitable research consultants and assess evaluation reports.
The Evaluation Module II: Analytical Techniques in Road Safety Evaluation
This module provides you with a firm understanding of the theory underlying research design, data collection and data analysis methods for both qualitative and quantitative data.
This course will help you conduct a simple but statistically or qualitatively rigorous evaluation, select better research consultants and assess the quality of evaluation reports.

Cancellation
Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the Office of Continuing Professional Education, either by mail, fax or email.
Cancellations received prior to 2 weeks before course commencement will be refunded less $100. No registration refunds will be made after this date.
We reserve the right to cancel the course under certain circumstances, such as low registration numbers. If this happens, we will advise you as soon as possible, and give you a full refund. We are not responsible for any expenses you may have incurred if the course is cancelled.
