The modules can be coupled together. If you successfully complete both modules and the formal assessment, you may be eligible for credit towards QUT's PYP405: Road Safety Evaluation Models unit.

The Evaluation Module I: Introduction to Evaluation in Road Safety provides you with the fundamental principles and best practices relevant to road safety evaluation. You'll gain a firm understanding of a variety of critical issues involved in designing and conducting a qualitative or quantitative study, and the pros and cons of some commonly used research methods. These skills will enable delegates to conduct basic evaluation, select suitable research consultants and assess evaluation reports.
The Evaluation Module II: Analytical Techniques in Road Safety Evaluation provides you with a firm understanding of the theory underlying research design, data collection and data analysis methods for both qualitative and quantitative data. This course will help you conduct a simple but statistically or qualitatively rigorous evaluation, select better research consultants and assess the quality of evaluation reports.
