Professional training courses for the electricity supply industry

We have conducted short course training programs for electricity supply engineers since 1993. These courses have been specifically designed to provide the underpinning skills and knowledge that have been identified in the competency standards for electricity supply engineers, which were developed by the Queensland electricity supply industry and QUT.

These training modules are particularly valuable in the fast-tracking, re-skilling and up-skilling of personnel in an industry that is undergoing continual change.

Course units are presented by experienced senior engineers from industry as well as QUT staff. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 25 students.

Register

Registration open

Registration closes two weeks before each course commencement date, unless sold out.

When you register, we'll automatically email you an invoice. You can pay for your place in the course by credit card when you register, or by cheque, EFT/direct debit or credit card once you've received your invoice.

FEE-HELP and HECS-HELP are not available for Continuing Professional Education courses.

Registration for EE82 Graduate Certificate students

Select from the modules outlined in the course overview. Email your unit selections (including any dietary requirements) to the Science and Engineering Faculty, and include the words 'EE82 Enrolment' in the subject line.

Science and Engineering Faculty staff will manually process these enrolments in bulk. Once this processing is complete, you'll be able to view your enrolment via QUT Virtual.

EE82 students must not register with the above registration link. You must forward all enrolment requests to the Science and Engineering Faculty.

Additional information

Places cannot be held for courses. The only way to secure a place is to register via the online registration link above.
