Details
This short course is aimed at current or potential managers who are interested in developing and refining their abilities as a manager. The course will provide participants with the key knowledge and skills they will need to become an effective and informed manager in a changing global environment.
The course will help participants to gain a better understanding of the role of the manager and the responsibilities this carries. Participants will be given the opportunity to critically consider their own approach to management and leadership including their natural strengths and areas needing development.
Other topics addressed will include:
- planning (strategic planning, human resource planing, and information planning and technological planning)
- innovation and entrepreneurship
- change management
- marking and feedback.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Attainment upon successful completion of the course assessment.
