Overview

Courses are run on demand.

This course presents the tactical and strategic issues involved in management consulting and client engagement. The course emphasises Information Systems (IS) work. IS constitutes a substantial portion of consulting activity and cuts across all areas of business expertise. Increasingly, organisations are moving to flatter, project-oriented team structures, similar to consulting firms. We examine the dynamics of IS consulting within the context of large consulting firms and familiarise students with the consulting engagement lifecycle. Acquire a better appreciation of the consulting process, and learn how to engage clients successfully.
