In this powerful workshop Courtney takes participants through a road map to build capabilities that embed social entrepreneurship practice and thinking into team and individual projects.

Objectives and outcomes

The workshop helps participants to:
  • appreciate the values and skills essential for developing social entrepreneurship capabilities in organisational teams
  • understand how to take an idea from concept stage into high scalability based on a series of relationship building tips and tools
  • contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that value-add with a win-win for all stakeholders
  • draw up winning ideas and presentations to get buy in from above and below
  • build a road map for the sustainability of the practice and success of social entrepreneurship initiatives in your organisations.

Participants will:

  • understand the process involved in building social entrepreneurship initiatives as a tool for enhancing organisational reputation and personal and team engagement
  • develop action plans for implementation in their organisations and/or personal life.

The expected results will be innovations in strategies, processes, products and other improvements that would lead to effective great awareness, buy-in and behaviours focused on social value programs.

Stages

Stage 1: Pre-workshop activities

Before the workshop, we email participants pre-readings and a personal reflective practice assignment based on their aspirations and current practices, to identify opportunities and challenges in their current environments. Real issues ensure active workshop participation and discussions.

Stage 2: Workshop

The workshop uses a modified action learning approach where participants work with existing organisational issues they have identified and formulate/draft strategic briefs to enhance performance for management considerations. Evidence-based case scenarios serve as a guide to address participants' specific issues and contexts.

Stage 3: Post-workshop support

Participants also receive continuous email support in developing their strategic brief (presentations) to management.

Course materials

We'll email you pre-workshop activities and a template to identify current issues in operational areas to complete before the workshop. At the workshop we'll provide an additional workbook and supporting documents, including a road map and tools.
