Some of the courses may also have majors that aren't listed here that have specific entry requirements, so make sure you read the course information.

In many cases, you also have the option of completing a graduate diploma or graduate certificate, as well as the masters programs listed below.

Business

Master of Advertising
If you're looking to make a career move into creative advertising or freshen up your skills, this course will develop your skills in copywriting, art direction and creative campaign direction.
Master of Business
The Master of Business program gives you the knowledge to change careers into a range of business professions even if you haven't studied business before. The course is also suitable if you're a business graduate seeking specialist knowledge in a particular business discipline.

Majors in: applied finance, human resource management, integrated marketing communication, international business, marketing, philanthropy and nonprofit studies, professional accounting, public relations, strategic advertising.
Master of Business Process Management
This course provides you with the skills and knowledge to design, execute and manage business process improvement initiatives at project, program and organisational level. Professionals who can combine managerial and IT skills to enhance process performance are in high demand.
Master of Journalism
This course is suitable if you're wishing to change career paths to journalism or seeking new journalism skills.

Creative, design and performance

Master of Advertising

Education

Graduate Diploma in Education
The course provides a pathway for graduates of non-teaching degrees to become a qualified teacher.
Master of Education
Many of the majors in our Master of Education are relevant to non-teaching careers and provide useful skills to enhance or change your career. You don't need to be a registered teacher to gain entry to the majors listed. Completing the Master of Education does not lead to teacher registration.

Majors in: career development, teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL), and teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL).

Health and community

Master of Social Work
This course provides a pathway to an internationally recognised qualification in social work. Graduates are eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Graduate Diploma in Psychology
This course provides a pathway to a fourth-year program in psychology. You'll need to do at least three years of study before you'll be able to register as a psychologist.
Bachelor of Nursing (Graduate Entry)
You can receive one year's credit and complete this course in two years full-time. Graduates of this course are eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and the Royal College of Nursing Australia.
Master of Biotechnology
This course provides training and advanced specialisation in general, medical, and plant biotechnology.
Master of Counselling
This course offers professionals advanced skills in counselling therapy. These skills are applicable in fields including nursing, education, community arts, justice, human services, and other allied health fields.
Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
This course equips students with expert knowledge in risk assessment, risk management, ergonomics, occupational health, laws relating to occupational health and safety, and safety technology.

Information technology

Master of Business Process Management
This course provides you with the skills and knowledge to design, execute and manage business process improvement initiatives at project, program and organisational level. Professionals who can combine managerial and IT skills to enhance process performance are in high demand.
Master of Information Technology
This course is designed to give you specialist knowledge in an information technology area, whether you have an IT background or not.

Majors in: digital environments, enterprise systems, executive information practice, games design, games production, information management, library and information studies, network management, security, software architecture.

Law and justice

Graduate Certificate in Applied Law
This program is designed for professionals who want an insight into a niche area of law. It will allow you to gain the expertise to manage legal issues in your work environment including health, project management, and commercial environments.
WIPO-QUT Master of Intellectual Property Law
This course is designed to meet the needs of current and aspiring intellectual property professionals from law and non-law backgrounds. This course does not lead to admission to the legal profession.
Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry)
This is a shortened course that recognises prior learning and experiences from your other degree. You can complete the course in three years full-time (or five years part-time or external) rather than four years full-time.

Science and mathematics

Master of Mathematical Science
This course enables you to develop your knowledge and skills in one or more areas of the mathematical sciences, even if you haven't studied mathematics for some time.

You may need to enrol in the graduate certificate initially as a pathway to the masters, depending on their background.

Strands available include mathematical modelling/applied mathematics, computation mathematics, statistics/statistical modelling, quantitative analysis/financial mathematics and operations research.
