You must be enrolled full-time in the second year or equivalent of a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources Management).

You must be able to prove:

• academic merit, demonstrated by a GPA of 5 or higher
• a desire to build a career in human resources
• applied understanding of Human Resource Management concepts, theory and practice
• personal and professional achievements and qualities.

You'll receive $8,000 to cover the cost of educational expenses in your final year of study.

We'll pay your scholarship as:

• a lump sum
• HECS-HELP or reimbursement if already paid
• a study stipend/allowance each semester.

Our panel will shortlist applications based on the selection criteria.

If you're shortlisted, we'll invite you to attend an interview with the selection panel in the week commencing 21 November 2011.

If you're successful or not, we'll send you written confirmation of the outcome of your application.

You must:

• remain enrolled in the Bachelor of Business (HRM) full-time to complete your study program
• maintain a minimum GPA of 5.

You can't hold another merit-based scholarship at the same time as the Ivan Wood Memorial Scholarship.

Ivan Wood was one of the most respected experts in the Australian human resource profession. He was someone who personified the professional, business-oriented human resource executive and was deservedly successful in his career due to his capability. Many people have been the beneficiary of his sound mentorship and advice, and it is only fitting that a way to remember his contribution to many careers is to support up and coming human resource professionals.

This scholarship is offered in memory of Ivan Wood who passed away in 2006.
