Eligibility details
You must:
- have participated in the Fostering Executive Women's Mentoring Program
- be able to attend the Women's Leadership Forum in Boston on 3-7 June 2013.
We'll assess your application based on your:
- academic record
- commitment to continuous improvement
- career and/or business development
- demonstrated personal, business, and entrepreneurial acumen
- demonstrated contribution to business and/or the community
- leadership qualities.
What you receive
You'll receive either a full scholarship or half scholarship to attend the Women's Leadership Forum, "Innovation Strategies for a Changing World". This forum is part of the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program, held at Harvard Business School in Boston, USA.
The full scholarship includes:
- return airfare to Boston, USA, to attend the Women's Leadership Forum
- fees for tuition, books, case materials, accommodation and most meals
- travel insurance for the duration of the trip to fulfill the obligation of the scholarship, covered under our travel insurance policy.
The half scholarship includes:
- fees for tuition, books, case materials, accommodation and most meals.
How to apply

Submit a statement of no more than 500 words, containing:
- a brief summary of your background
- the benefits you received from participating in the Fostering Executive Women's Mentoring Program
- how the Fostering Executive Women's Mentoring Program has benefited your career
- a statement addressing how you possess demonstrated academic, personal, business and entrepreneurial acumen which would be enhanced by the course of study offered by the scholarship.
Your application must include:
- a completed and signed scholarship agreement (PDF file, 51.67 KB)
- your full name, address and contact details
- a brief CV
- written references and contact details from two referees. This includes one from your FEW Mentor and a second professional reference.
Referees should also address how you possess the selection criteria of demonstrated academic, personal, business and entrepreneurial acumen which would be enhanced by the course of study offered by the scholarship.
Send your application to the Fostering Executive Women Alumni Group, care of the Events and Engagement Administrator. Applications close at 5 pm on Friday 10 August, 2012.
What happens next
If you're shortlisted, we'll invite you to attend an interview with our selection panel in September, 2012 (date to be confirmed).

- Fostering Executive Women Alumni Group
- scholarship sponsors.

Background
The St George Bank FEW International Scholarship 2013 is part of the Fostering Executive Women's International Scholarship Program. The program aims to:
- advance and enrich the career prospects and business objectives of Fostering Executive Women members with demonstrated academic, personal, business and entrepreneurial acumen which would be enhanced by the course of study offered by a scholarship
- provide international exposure for FEW, our sponsors, and QUT
- promote QUT as the University for the Real World, and FEW as an innovative alumni association committed to advancing women in business and leadership in Australia
- build a strong foundation for high quality mentors
- enhance FEW's international network for the benefit of our community, sponsors and members.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake the Women's Leadership Forum, "Innovation Strategies for a Changing World", as part of the Harvard Business School's Executive Education Program course at Harvard Business School in Boston, USA, from 3-7 June, 2013.
