Eligibility details

You must:

  • have studied Year 12 in Australia
  • have completed Year 12 in the year you apply for the program, or the previous year
  • have received an OP 1 or 2 (or equivalent)
  • be starting university for the first time
  • apply for and gain a place in the Bachelor of Business (Dean's Honours).

What you receive

You will:

  • complete a bachelor degree and honours degree
  • receive a scholarship of $20,000, paid per semester.

Apply for the Bachelor of Business (Dean's Honours) through QTAC.

Make sure you use the correct QTAC code for the Dean's Honours version of your course. Check your course details for the QTAC code.

You don't need to apply separately for the scholarship.

QTAC will notify you of the outcome of your application.

Conditions

To keep your scholarship and place in the program, you must:

  • remain enrolled full-time
  • follow the Dean's Honours program course structure
  • maintain a grade point average (GPA) of at least 5.5.

We may ask you to help promote the Dean's Scholars program and scholarship by participating at faculty promotional and recruitment events.

You can:

  • hold an Equity scholarship as well as your Dean's Scholars scholarship

We may terminate your scholarship if you:

  • defer your QTAC offer and take a year off before starting your course
  • take leave during your course
  • don't meet the ongoing performance and course progression requirements.
