Eligibility details
You must:
- have a record of achievement in the Indigenous creative industries
- be proposing a research project that will advance Indigenous creative industries.
What you receive
You'll receive:
- $10,000 each year to cover coursework fees (if applicable) or assist with living expenses.
How to apply

Apply for an eligible research degree.
- In the 'Scholarship application' section of your application, state that you want to be considered for the Creative Industries Postgraduate Scholarship for Indigenous Students.

Attach a written response to the selection criteria:
- demonstrated record of participation and achievement in the Indigenous creative industries
- merit of your research project in advancing the Indigenous creative industries
- track record of project completion.
Your response should be no more than 500 words for each criterion.
What happens next
We assess applications in mid January.
If you're shortlisted, we'll invite you to an individual interview.
We award scholarships based on:
- written applications, particularly:
- record of achievement in the Indigenous creative industries
- the merit of your research project in advancing the Indigenous creative industries
- the interview.
