Eligibility details
You must:
- be a female domestic student
- be studying in the IF49 - Doctor of Philosophy or ED11 - Doctor of Education course (specialising in early childhood education).
You are particularly encouraged to apply, if:
- you are facing financial hardship
- you are from a regional or remote background.
What you receive
You'll receive:
- a scholarship of $10,000 for one year, paid in $5,000 instalments in semester 1 and semester 2.

We will assess your application primarily based on the quality of the research proposal and researcher.

Conditions

Philanthropist Laurie Cowled funds this scholarship to foster the education of women, particularly from rural or remote backgrounds, who are completing doctoral studies in early childhood education
