How to apply
Background
Universities Australia is working with the Chilean government through Becas Chile to enable Chilean students, who have secured a Bicentennial Fund Scholarship, to study at Australian universities.
The program aims to strengthen Chile's human capital development and the scope and quality of education, scientific and technological research and innovation in areas associated with Chile's socio-economic development. The Chilean Government will fund students' travel, living and other expenses.
QUT welcomes scholarship applicants for postgraduate and coursework studies and QUT's annexe agreement provides 10 full PhD tuition scholarships a year for Chilean researchers for the next five years.
The scholarships cover a wide range of research fields including:
- agriculture and food industry
- biotechnology
- information and communication technologies
- energy
- environmental issues
- health
- education
- housing and public security.
