As a current or prospective QUT student, you may be able to claim advanced standing (credit) for part of your course, on the basis of completed or partially completed studies, and other assessable learning outcomes.

Applications for advanced standing, academic credit and exemptions are processed through Student Business Services.

• Advanced Standing Precedent List - check the amount of credit you can claim.
• Credit for previous studies - QUT's rules regarding transfer of Advanced Standing.
• Advanced Standing for study - application form, closing dates for submission and documentation requirements.

International students

You can apply for advanced standing towards a QUT degree if:

• you have graduated from a recognised university or college
• the subjects are assessed as equivalent to those taught at QUT.
