All campuses of QUT offer childcare services. QUT childcare centres are registered with the government to ensure a quality level of care is maintained.

On-campus childcare

The QUT Student Guild offers childcare facilities at Gardens Point, Kelvin Grove and Carseldine. Refer to their Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

Off-campus childcare

Several types of accredited childcare services are available in Brisbane. Queensland Government Department of Communities has long day care and occasional care at Community Centres. The Family Day Care Scheme is care in a private home with a registered carer.

Fees

Childcare fees depend on the type of care and the hours attended. Information about fee schedules and fee policy should be obtained from your childcare provider before enrolment.

International students

Most international students are expected to meet full childcare fees for their children. Students sponsored or subsidised by the Australian Government may be eligible for childcare assistance. More information is available from International Student Services.
