To be eligible to study at QUT you need to meet both academic and English entry requirements.
Academic requirements
Academic requirements refers to the level at which you previously studied as well as the standard you achieved in your results. The country guide sets out the academic requirements for students from 30 countries.
English language requirements
Your English language proficiency level must be appropriate for your proposed course before you are admitted into QUT.
Pathways to enter
International students who have not met university admission requirements can complete special programs to meet the academic and English preparation standard required for the University's courses. To enable you to begin higher education courses, a flexible range of programs is provided by QUT University Entry Programs.
What if I don't meet entry requirements?
If you do not meet entry requirements, we will consider you for special admission if you can show evidence of equivalent study achievements or relevant work experience.
Where can I test my English?
You can prove your English language ability by passing one of the English tests QUT accepts.
Advanced Standing and Credit transfer
You may be eligible to apply for advanced
standing towards a QUT degree, if you are a graduate of a university, college
or polytechnic course which is equivalent in standard and content to those taught
at QUT.
