Dean's Scholars Program

The Dean's Scholars Program is the only scholarship and development program of its kind in Australia.

Dean's Scholars are sought by industry as potential future leaders in engineering. Gain a competitive edge over other students through:

Go for IT gURL Merit Scholarship

Up to five scholarships are available to Queensland Year 12 domestic female students with an OP 1-5 who wish to enrol full-time in an undergraduate information technology degree. The scholarship is paid over the first two semesters of study. Applications close November 2012.

Indigenous scholarships and financial support

Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students commencing an eligible undergraduate degree in the Faculty in Sesmester 1 are entitled to receive a one-off $200 QUT Bookshop voucher. You can also apply for the Faculty Undergraduate Indigenous Scholarship.

Mathematics Bursary Program

A limited number of bursaries are available to assist full-time students in the Bachelor of Mathematics or mathematics double degrees in business, information technology, science or engineering.

The Dean's Award for High Achievement

This scheme supports and encourages the outstanding high schoool performances of first-year students. Each year these scholarships are offered to students who commence an undergraduate program within the Faculty, straight from year 12 or after a gap year.

Women in Engineering Scholarship

The Women in Engineering Scholarship encourages and supports female students entering their first year of full-time engineering study. Recipients of a Women in Engineering scholarship are eligible for the Monique Cramer Award.

Industry scholarships

The Science and Engineering Faculty are fortunate to be able to offer industry-sponsored scholarships to support enrolled students while they study, and connect them to industry early in their degree. This industry engagement offers our students a wealth of opportunity and experience. Industry scholarships are advertised throughout the year.
