Australian Information Education Symposium
The Queensland University of Technology and RMIT are proud to host the Australian Information Education Symposium. This national event brings together educators within the information professions to enable a culture of informed and innovative teaching and learning practice.
Information educators at all levels (VET and university) and supporting all facets of the profession - libraries, archives, information & knowledge management, records, schools, museums - are invited to come and share their ideas, explore best practice, develop their teaching scholarship, and work with others.
Call for Contributions
The call for contributions is not open. Submissions exploring all facets of teaching and learning within the information professions are welcome, including research or best practice case studies investigating areas such as student recruitment and retention, curriculum renewal, new approaches to pedagogy, student engagement.
A 300 word abstract is required further information can be found here. All submissions should be made using the online system: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aies2013

Venue and Transport
The Symposium will be held at the Melbourne City Campus of RMIT. This campus is located near public transport -buses, trams and trains.
