The NASA International Space Apps Challenge

20 April 2013

The NASA International Space Apps Challenge is an international mass collaboration focused on space exploration that takes place over 48-hours in cities around the world.

The event will run from 20-21 April 2013 and embraces collaborative problem solving with the goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space. NASA is leading this global collaboration along with a number of additional government collaborators and 100+ local partner organizations. QUT will be hosting the free Brisbane event in the brand new Science and Engineering Centre

We welcome participants with all types of skills, including coding, developing, designing, creating ideas and engineering to name a few. Most importantly, if you have a passion for science, technology and creating, then this is for you!

With over 50 challenge ideas to choose from, they are designed to serve as an inspiration for your work and as a platform for the global community to work together. For that reason, we encourage you to join with others around the world during the event to create a collaborative solution.
