International collaboration
Research is by its very nature global and today's challenges require input from multi-disciplinary teams within Australia and beyond. One of our key ambitions is to expand internationalisation of research, including engagement with global research centres and in countries such as China, India and other emerging Asian economies.
We have strong links with a number of international organisations and research institutions, including:
- Australian-Canadian Prostate Cancer Research Alliance (Aus-CanPCRA), with 28 clinical and scientific partner organisations
- Smart Skies - Boeing Research & Technology, Australian Research Centre for Aerospace Automation, CSIRO
- Biofortification of Bananas - National Agricultural Research Organisation (Uganda), Kenya and Tanzania
- Solar Powered Nano Sensors Project - supported by the Queensland State Government National and International Research Alliances, including as partners Brescia and Roma tor Vergata University, Italy, CQU, and Dyesol.
